Flexiency is a four-year, Horizon 2020-funded project consisting of eighteen market and non-market partners in ten EU member states.

Five large-scale demonstrations with real customers will be deployed in Italy, France, Spain, Austria, and Sweden to show that the deployment of novel services* in electricity retail markets can be accelerated—and accessible to new players at the EU level—with an open European marketplace based on real-time data and standardised interactions among electricity stakeholders, opening up the energy market to new players
