About Us
Joule Assets Europe is the European division of Joule Assets, a US-based company actively empowering communities, businesses, investors, and individuals to capitalize on Sustainable Energy Assets by expanding small customer market access, encouraging community-scale clean energy programs and facilitating energy efficiency markets.
In Europe, Joule supports the access to financing for energy efficiency and renewables projects, catalysing the marketplace for project developers and investors to overcome the market barriers that limit financing of sustainable energy projects.
What we do
Support ESCo’s growth
Joule helps small and medium ESCos, engineering firms, and construction companies across Europe access appropriate project investment by providing advisory work through the eQuad platform including third-party valuation, contract modelling, project certification, and due diligence that facilitate and expedites financing for energy efficiency and renewables projects.
Thanks to the wide network of investors, project developers, and key actors in the energy transition, Joule has been able to establish a strong presence in the sustainable energy finance market.
SHAPING THE SUSTAINABLE ENERGY MARKET
Joule contributes to the shaping of EU policies accelerating the implementation of energy efficiency projects and the transition to renewables through innovative finance. Joule Assets Europe is involved in several European-funded Horizon 2020 projects, industry working groups and collaborations to put forward policy recommendations for EU institutions, as well as other government-funded initiatives that shape policy concerning the scale-up and innovating financing of energy efficiency and renewables projects.
